This is my "go to" for a slice of their tasty grandma's slice. I drove from a far to get my fix and it was well worth it. They put a good amount of sauce on top with a little bit of garlic in the middle. I complimented the owner manager. The pizza place was recently renovated also. It can get busy during the lunch hour but the service is quick.
I always order from here or go eat there. It's the only good American food around here in flushing. I hope they never close out. They have been here for years. Good food. Good service.
I wanted a good sandwich the night before a half marathon and I wanted something walkable from my Airbnb. Enter Phil & Sons. It was exactly what I wanted! The sandwich was great, super fresh, and the restaurant was constantly busy with foot traffic from the nearby hospital.
I have been craving pizza and had to come here since I was close by. For 2 slices and a soda can it's $8. It is a bit pricey, but the slices are big, hot, crunchy and tasty. The pizza sauce and cheese are perfect. I was half full from consuming one slice. You will not be disappointed.
Came here yesterday around noon and ordered the Lunch Special for my friend. 2 cheese slices and a soda for $8. Great Deal! I didn't see them having the typical sodas - Coke, Sprite, Mountain Dew. I picked the Pepsi Mango for her. It was very busy at this time! Students, healthcare workers from the hospital nearby. All the tables were seated and it was crowded. The line was long but moved fast. The line moves in as opposed to moving out towards the door. I didn't know that and ended up in the sea of people and blocking other people. They get your pizza to you quick. Packed and ready to go in minutes. Food is nonetheless tasty and fresh here, I've been here before getting garlic knots and pepperoni pizza. I believe if you pay cash, it's a bit cheaper than paying card.
Solid pizzeria near Columbia Presbyterian Queens. Friendly five star service and reasonable prices. Chicken cutlet pizza and garlic knots were a 4.25. I'll try some of their other Italian restaurant/pizzeria items. I was offered (and used) a reusable fork and knife. Very nice touch for a local NYC pizza joint.
Just got mani at home. Glad to see they've re-opened for business. Pies are slighyy th Lt larger, burnt on the bottom, and very expensive. Still an excellent made pie at any price.
